In his work, Bach weaved together intersecting melodies and counterpoint harmonies, creating a distinctive sound whether the instrument was organ, cello, or the human voice. He also expressed his close relationship with God through the music he wrote, often working as a musical director for local churches and crafting some of his greatest pieces for use in worship. In addition, he served as a devoted father and dedicated teacher. Like his music, Bach’s life found beauty in many melodies. Like his life, his music brings glory to God.
